The Academy Is...

*So, it's a little late, but I just found out that William Beckett is a dad. [link] I find it extremely cute, and I know that their baby is so wonderful and cute because of the way William loves his new family. I don't know if they're married or anything, but I don't care. Marriage is just a formality in papers, and weddings are just announcing that you are married. It's a little creepy, because when I've been listening to this band (*This Providence), and I kept thinking, if William (and Gabe, because, yeah, you know. )had a kid, he'd sound exactly like this guy*. And then I found out about this. Creepy, but cool, and kinda makes me happy.

Thoughts about that? No wonder William is such a secretive guy, with his haunting lyrics that talk of hiding from the world... He's been keeping such a huge secret. But damn, I am so happy for him. Won't stop me from writing slash though, but I respect him. My writing is just for fun, and I won't include real people in their lives anymore (apart from the actual band members/crew.)

*Lost In Pacific Time is awesome. I love it so much. It's nice to have something to listen to after Gabe and the rest kept dominating the charts on my music players. Check out their new EP, okay?

Ah! Believers Never Die... man. I'm in love with Alpha Dog. They made it even more addicting. Just saying, so you'll have something to look forward to in November.

Brand New Eyes? ** ~Awesome! I am in love with this album as well. It's a nice push and pull from All We Know Is Falling... and Riot!

This Providence and A Rocket To The Moon

Not familiar? Well, they're in FBR as well and I think they're great. I love their song Sand In Your Shoes (hence the title of this journal because I am so original. ). I'm still checking ARTTM, so no word on it yet, although I'm sure they can offer me something. Check them out.

As for you:
If you read ltfb: I'm almost done. College has been just hard, I mean, I have a quiz ever other day, and it counts for a huuuge percent of my grade. I don't want to fail, I don't want to waste my parents' money on me by doing so.
If you read slash: The ideas are pouring, but yeah, same reasons as above.
Pictures/drawings/etc: I hope you check them out. Those are the only ones I seem to find myself time for.
AS FOR ME:
*Well, have I ever told you that my school life is sucking the life out of me? My schedule for this term sucks. I barely have time to myself (unlike before), and they're giving us quizzes and homework like it's the only thing we can do with our spare time. I'm not even exaggerating anymore. (I have to study now actually for a quiz tomorrow. And then another one the day after that.)
*I love my PE! I mean, I used to complain at the beginning, like last term I had soccer (although my brain said "Hey, Pete used to play! Be good!".) It turned out, I make a decent goalie and a good defender. Like yeah, my foot bled when the opposing team tried to get passed me, but I kicked the ball away from my side of the field. Which is good. Now, I have Taekwondo. Freaking hell. I thought, "Oh no..." (for personal *which you can ask me if you want* and defying-against-gravity issues.) But after a day or so, I love it. I can kick. I guess dancing when I was a kid, and watching *cough* someone do martial arts before helped a lot. My professor said that after the course subject, I'm gonna have a yellow belt. Which is also good.
*I once told someone in here that in the day, I am a saint. But, well (totally not complaining and bragging), I've done a lot ever since I was a kid. It used to be because the school required us to do work for others, but now I actually feel a sense or gratitude, no matter how ungrateful some of those people can be. Every Saturday, I wake up at 5:30 in the morning to go at some place where we do community service (which is 2-3 hours travel time, and full day work). I feel tired, and that's why I haven't had much time to do anything here. So don't think I ignore your works! I'd never do that.
*I need a hug. And I need some dinner. (After this I'm making it. Yum.)

Believers Never Die? Have I missed something? Uh-ohes. But I agree whole-heartedly about Brand New Eyes. I have been listening to it non-stop since I bought it.

Good luck with all of those exams & stuff. Sounds crazy. I would have snapped long before now if I had to do the same thing.

Brand new eyes? Me too. I've been focusing on my favorites, but I'll listen to the others once I buy a CD. Which would be around Christmas I think because I am turning into a material girl and I don't want my mother confirming it.

I mean, my class is snapping alright. We're so stressed. Even the most calm of us started to lose it. But what can I expect from and Ivy League school. And I have a business related course which is a big deal, and full of maths subjects. *Jesus*

Yeah, I looked up the CD. I have almost all of the songs, so I might wait a while before getting "Believers never Die".

I always say that I do not really care about possesions, but I know that if my house was burning down, there are a lot of things I own that I would try to grab on my way out. Mostly because of the amount of moeny I spend on buying my stuff. I am slowly but surely building up a collection of CDs, DVDs & vampire books.

Ivy League? Wow. That explains a lot. Math is evil. Every so often something happens to remind me that I used to have a logical / mathematical brain. Not sure where it went. Methinks it got scared off about a year & a half ago.
